Agency History

Help Incorporated was developed in 1983 as an Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center.  The agency began primarily offering prevention programs for children and families affected by abuse.  In the late 90's, the agency realized that there was a growing need not only to provide prevention services, but intervention services as well.  In 2002, with the assistance of the Bonneville County Multidisciplinary Team, Help Incorporated began working towards opening a Children's Advocacy Center to provide intervention services for children who made allegations of abuse.

In 2005, Help, Inc. opened the Snake River Children's Advocacy Center (SRCAC) which provides a facility designed to assist professionals and families by offering one location to interview victims of child abuse, and provides necessary advocacy and intervention services for both children and their families.

Today, the agency offers a multitude of both child abuse prevention and intervention services to the community.

Reporting abuse can make a difference.

Anyone suspecting child abuse has the right -- and responsiblity -- to report it.

Help Inc. and The Parents as Teachers want to thank The Adair Group for their support.
