Dr. James Drake joined the Board of Directors in 2007.  He is co-owner of Park West Dental Care and Assist to Succeed Dental Assisting Schools.  He and his wife Jennifer have three wonderful children.  Both Dr. Drake and Jennifer grew up in loving homes here in Idaho and would like to see more children have the same blessing.  He organized the University for Parents in 2009 and helped initiate the yearly Child Abuse Detection and Reporting Seminar sponsored by Help Inc.

Steve Hall joined the Board of Directors in 2001 because of his professional and personal commitment to helping prevent child abuse and to mitigate its effects when it happens.  Having enjoyed a normal, happy childhood (except when having been punished for normal childhood misbehavior, which wasn't so happy, but was certainly beneficial - just ask his mom!), his goal is to see that all children have the same opportunity.  Loving, kind, nurturing, and involved parents are a child's most valuable resource.

Idaho Falls and Ammon are home to Steve and Valerie Hall and their six children, four boys and two girls.  Most of the children are now adults and half have moved hither and yon, but this has been a wonderful community to live in and raise a family.  Steve has practiced law almost continuously in Idaho Falls since graduating from the B.Y.U. Law School and passing the Idaho Bar Exam in 1979.   Steve has a general civil law practice with Petersen, Moss & Hall, where he practiced from 1979 to 1982 and again from 1986 to the present.  From 1983 to mid-1986 he was employed as area counsel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Central America and the Caribbean.

Raising and teaching children has been a major part of Steve and Valerie's focus for the last 33 years.  Besides raising their own children, their home has played host to four exchange students, and they were the legal guardians of an older teen for a couple of years.  Valerie spent twelve years running a pre-school in their home for 3 and 4-year-olds.  Valerie is now on the cusp of becoming a licensed midwife, and Steve and Valerie spend some of their spare time teaching Bradley Method® natural childbirth classes.  Steve has spent much of his time over the past 25 years teaching and working with teenagers through the Boy Scouts of America and church groups.

Mindy Kary hails from the Midwest, but has made East Idaho her home since 1989. She loves the mountains, the outdoors, even the climate! She loves spending time in the great outdoors camping, horseback riding, hiking, white water rafting, and her own back yard, where she loves to garden and dig in the dirt, but hates chasing the weeds. Mindy loves to travel and thinks vacationing is fun... and she loves the whole journey of getting there and back. She takes her kids someplace new every year, and whether it's to a tropical place, or just in their own mountains here in the west, they love the adventure! Mindy is proud to call KLCE her radio home. She's been on the air since 1995 and she really enjoys getting to know her listeners and calls many her good friends.
